Employee from software frim Sage arrested for FRAUD

BBC News has revealed that police have arrested a 32-year-old employee from software firm Sage at Heathrow airport.

It was confirmed by City of London Police that the woman was arrested recently in connection with a fraud investigation and has since been bailed. It came to light earlier this week that the software firm was the victim of a data breach, which may have compromised personal information for employees at 280 UK businesses. Sage, who is based in the North East, has said it has told all businesses that may have been affected. The firm provides business software for accounting and payroll services to firms across 23 countries.
